Recolors for a custom window?

Hi. I'm wondering how to recolor a custom window, not made by me. I looked in SimPE files, but naturally, it was not there. So, I want to recolor this window:

The top taller one. My question is, how do get this widow ready for a recolor if it's not ready, if that's possible, and if it it is ready, how do I get it into SimPE to edit it? Please help. :help:

It says on the post that to recolour those, you recolour the Maxis 2-story window. They borrow textures from it, so if you recolour the Maxis window, it'll add recolours to that custom window.
