Removing shadow from invisible recolor

I have made the apartment life door recolor with the doormat invisible, however the shadow still appears. Is there any way to remove the shadow? I have looked for some tutorials or help on invisible recoloring, but haven't seen this question answered.

There is a way to remove the shadow but you would have to clone the door. You cannot take the shadow away with a recolour.

You can either delete the "groundshadow" in GMDC or blacken out the shadow texture and re-import it as an ExtRaw8Bit. The second option is probably the better of the two:)
