my latest project is a modification removing all the stupid bows off the otherwise beautiful nightlife cardigan dress mesh and changing the shoes on it to something more normal for an adult:

this is just the first in-game testing images modelled by my Tarin, I also alpha editted the necklace off it and I'm going to be doing more re-textures and recolours of the modified mesh once I'm satisifed that I've got it nice enough to release I'll put it up for download (just working out one or two last little annoyances on the mesh itself.

the mesh for the nightlife dress is almost done...just fiddling with the alpha and the textures on the replacement shoes now and creating a few more recolours of it :giggler

That all looks yummy! The sweater looks very good on those sims. I also wish I could do nice retextures like those by Simlin 55. :) Linn's dresses have a nice texture I would wear in real life... if my butt was smaller lol.

Yes, my sims have a bit of a theme that definately would weird up some people's neighbourhoods. Lol XD Unless you're pulling an anime-ish sorta town.. or a glittery fantasy mofif thing my stuff would look..odd. :D

I actually need to set all my defaults to all my own skins in my game.. seeing as they don't fit in the same "universe" as most other skins do.. so the mix looks weird.

That sounds great kiki - a lot of the meshes I use is adult ones (too few elder meshes out there), so I just change their category and they work find. I look forward to giving it a try after Christmas.

While visiting Sydney a few weeks ago with my family we went to the Powerhouse Museum and they had a whole bunch of vintage clothing on display. I particularly fancied some of the 1950's swimsuits they had.

I - obviously :lol: - need to take some better piccys before I upload but is there any particular colours I should make? I have a red and a black in the making, on a whole stack of bodyshapes.

As a game veteran, I pride myself on paying and beating games; and I have done so since the days of Pong. And while I do enjoy a good game of Halo 3 or Oblivion, I cannot let go of the classics. Here are the games I designated as classics. Made them Entirely myself, using SimPE.
There are about 50 or so, I couldn't include all the pics here, sorry :( I was also able to do the 2006 Game of the Year: Oblivion. And even after almost 2 years, it's still the best RPG of this Millennium!
I also have tons of stuff I did over the years, including the complete Thundercats heros, which I am so proud of. But with these and most of the stuff I did, I had to borrow and give credit to other Simmers whose expertise in certain areas outweigh mine. Plus, I did not wanna spam.

No mesh. Simple recolor. Just load up Sims (might need UNI and Nightlife) and find the decorations. Go to wall hangings or art and find the surfing alien, I think the price is around $150 Anyway, click on the surfer alien and the recolors of that poster will be shown. Enjoy :)

Huge photoprint on canvas with citylights. I made some for my own game, because I wanted this kind of print on the wall in my Nightclub. It got a bit out of hand 'cos I've done about 20 cities now.

Here's a rather modest creation from me... I intended to use the sim AND the dress as part of a themed project (it's Lucy from Peanuts) but the character is so far removed from her cartoonishness that she's hard to recognize. I probably will not upload this...

If you look past all the cartoonish-ness.. I do think she looks like Lucy, Endersgirl.

Maybe she would resemble Lucy a bit more if you aged her down to child? I think the blue dress is nice anyway.
