WELCOME TO THE FIRST CYCLE OF THE NEXT MISS "HER POSE" MAGAZINE MODEL

HER POSE is looking for their very first Model for their new Magazine. Do you have what it takes to be the next "Her Pose" Model? If so, we'd love to see you're portfolio pictures. We are looking for fresh new Models, with a unique personality. If you've been struggling and want a career in modeling, this contest is the one for you!

This contest will focus mostly on advertising, and how well you sell the products given.

RULES:
1.] No Simposing, No sim stealing, must be your own sim, in game born sims are fine. Must be a YA/ADULT FEMALE sim
2.] Photoshopping may be required for some rounds.
3.] You are allowed to enter up to 2 sims (only one will make it to round 2)
4.] Be creative with you're shots
5.] No negativity towards the other contestants, if you fail to do so this will be an automatic elimination
6.] If you need extra time on a round, PM me 24 hours prior the deadline. Do NOT leave us hanging waiting for you.
7.] Please do what is required in the rounds
8.] When putting up your entry, put you're sims name and the round

the headshot can be either or. and the attire doesn't matter, as long as it fits your models personality. i dont really see it being a problem, im sure DiDi will be ok with it :)

EDIT: I think i might change the attire to certain colors in a formal outfit. everyone can pick a color they want. first come first serve. That way the group picture will blend in more :) thanks for making me think of that Jill. :)

Why you should be in the Magazine: I'm a single mother, so I don't have the usual backround, and I'm studying. I'd be a good role-model, and I've got a pretty face. I do focus on my studies, and I was serious about getting pregnant when I did, it just didn't work out with the father. I'm not your average model, and I'd bring something new to whichever company I worked at. I'm not confident, and I'm doing this so I'll grow, and I believe that if I work with you, I'll bring a new shine to your company.

The faces of fashion now a'days are just that- Faces. They don't have the humanity and the personality that real role models should. Where as, I have my life story written on my face, and I'm ready to take the industry by storm. I've come from the bottom, and worked my way up. When my husband and I got married, we had nothing. And, now, we have a successful business, and love eachother to death. That is what the industry needs- not a barbie doll with a perfect life.

Definatly the makeup ad, I loved being pampered and the product they used on my skin cleared up all my blemishes, it was wonderful

Who do you think is your biggest threat?
I think everyone is my biggest threat, there is no one in this house I'm not afraid off, so I'm just gonna pull the stops and try and do my best.

Have you gotten close to any of the girls?
Although I am out-going, I just want to settle down here at the moment, my boyfriend gave me a photo album book and I've been flipping through it, I think as soon as my initial home sickness fades i'll be my confident, bubbly self.

Definatly! I didn't realise how hard the makeup advert was going to be! I'm alot better with my facial movements now.

A: Being a makeup artist myself, I truly enjoyed the Sheer Cover Ad...I learned alot from the artist on set, and there's always room for knowledge.

A: This soon into the contest, it is still anyone's victory...so yeah, I feel somewhat threatened by ALL of these Gorgeous girls.

A: Unfortunately, it has been so busy for all of us since we arrived, we haven't all been here at the same time, but I did get to know a few girls at the giiiirrrrlll party...and very much enjoyed their company.

What task did you enjoy doing better?
I think I liked the Sephora ad better. Even though I don't wear the make up from Sephora (Too expensive! I'm a drug-store shopper when it comes to cosmetics.), it was a lot of fun to get made up.

Who do you think is your biggest threat?
I can't say. It's too early on to pick out anyone who's taken the lead. Everyone's beautiful.

Have you gotten close to any of the girls?
Actualy, Lorene and I have hit it off pretty well. We've got similar interests, and similar tastes. She's definitely my friend in the house.

Do you think you gained anything from these tasks?
Absolutely. Both of the tasks taught me very different things. Just being here has taught me a lot. I didn't think I'd miss my husband or my house this early on... But I'm really missing 'em. Luckily, all this healthy competition is keeping my mind off of it.

What task did you enjoy doing better?
Sephora ad by a long shot. The male model I was working with for the hollister ad had a REALLY bad sweat problem... I mean despite it being sunny, it was nowhere near boiling and yet this dude was sweating all over me like a yeti! When I politely asked had he consulted some sort of physician about this he got really moody at me... I was only trying to help!

Who do you think is your biggest threat?
Not only is everyone gorgeous but everyone is pretty hard working too, everyone is threat at this stage.

Have you gotten close to any of the girls?
Surprisingly yes! I wouldn't say I'm anti-social but I did plan to try and keep myself to myself. Seems terribly bitchy to be going shopping with someone but hope they mess up their ads so you can win. But me and Jill hit it off pretty quickly, we have a lot in common, but yeah everyone seems pretty cool in the house.

Do you think you gained anything from these tasks?
Gah it hurts me to say this but I have gained the knowledge that modelling isn't easy... or glamourous as sweaty male model taught me *shudders*

Definitely the Abercrombie ad, I got to work with an amazing model for the set, and it was taken during one of the most beautiful sunsets ever! Abercrombie is definitely a very nice clothing line, but a little expensive for my salary.

Who do you think is your biggest threat?
Oh, easily all of the girls here. We all seem to be neck in neck, and everyone is so gorgeous!

Have you gotten close to any of the girls?
I'm a little too shy. But hey, if you speak to me first I'm most likely to talk back.

Do you think you gained anything from these tasks?
I obviously gained modeling experience. I've never been in a photoshoot for a clothing line before and I thought it was great. Working with people I didn't know made me a little nervous, so I guess I'll have to work on that!

What task did you enjoy doing better?
The Sheer Cover task. It was great fun, and everyone was soo nice!

Who do you think is your biggest threat?
It would have to be Casey Rogers. She's got that girl-next-door look, and yet the smile of an experienced model.

Have you gotten close to any of the girls?
I really really like Madeliene Newell. I haven't spoken to her much, as I'm quite shy, but from our small conversations she seems really friendly!

Do you think you gained anything from these tasks?
I definetly gained something from the abercrombie tasks. It took hours to get the right photo, but I learnt that by being original, it's going to be harder, and it's best just to stick the the crowd, in your comfort zone. Oh, and that you need a really fantastic photogropher to get a picture done in just one day!

What task did you enjoy doing better?
I enjoyed the Sephora ad the most. I'm not a very big makeup lover, but there's something about going into a Sephora store that makes me excited.

Who do you think is your biggest threat?
Wow, umm i'm not really sure yet. I know that at this point it could be anyone. All the girls are exceedingly beautiful and talented, so it could be anyone.

Have you gotten close to any of the girls?
I havent really spent any one on one time with anyone yet, since we've just moved in and im trying to get situated, but everyone is very nice.

I think the Hollister ad really took me out of my element. It forced me to get comfortable in another style, so yea i think i did.

I'd have to say the Hollister ad, because i was kind of sick for the Sephora photoshoot. Also, the Hollister photoshoot meant that i could experiment with my poses,

Oh, all of them! But to be picky, I'll say Tuesday. She's the same age as me, with a natural beauty that I could never follow!

I regret to say not really! I'm known by everyone as an lively sort of person, but this compest has been sort of a rush to my mind.

YES! It was nervewracking for me personally, because i have zilch previous experience. I tried my best, and i hope people can see that.

I picked A Cinderella Story as it is a modern interpret of one of my favourite fairy tales, I chose the scene when he was going to kiss her as it is so romantic, and although me and my boyfriend where not in ball gowns, our first kiss was similar, and we also got rudely distracted! I decided I wanted to do a scene from Sweeney Todd.
One of my favourites songs from the movie is "Worst Pies in London", sung by Mrs. Lovett.
Something about the mood of the song is just so awesome. So is the entire visual of the movie! I'm was SO excited to get started on this.

This runway was amazing.
It was REALLY long, and had a cut-out in the center, so, for the bulk of the walk, there were people looking at you from both sides.
It was really cool. I liked the red-lights, and the goth-industrial edge to the layout.
Made me think of Silent Hill or something.

Task 3 - We All Know Who You Are Now

Wow! Talk about a shock! I was just minding my own buisness, and all the sudden these two women were asking me questions and shoving microphones in my face.
It kinda startled me. I got a little upset- I don't like getting bombared like that. It freaks me out. Though, now, I think it's kind-of flattering... But, then, it just scared me.
Guess I need to get used to it... xD Just wish they'd asked first!

Ahh the Atlaua Runway show, the most stressful experience of my life. My dress was sooo heavy aswell as extremely delicate, though I guess that's what one would expect from a bamboo corset, yes you heard me. I had splinters in the most unimaginable places... I absolutely looved it though, the hair, the make up, the runway which had an actual waterfall all just came together and created the most surreal atmosphere.

Task 3 - We All Know Who You Are Now

In the fame game, I know you should be worried if the paparazzi aren't photographing your every move but in my opinion there are some places that are fair ground (the red carpet, show biz parties, I don't even mind if you take pictures of me in the street as long as you don't get in my face about it) and there are some places and situations which are just intrusive. If I'm having a quiet drink with a mate and then I don't see this as a photo op or a time for uneccesary questions. I politely explained this to the guys at "Thrasher Magazine" but they ignored me and continued on so I got angry. Me and my serverely embarassed friend left promptly before they could get anymore pictures. Hey, they can't say I didn't warn them.

We have given you your own perfume that you designed and made, just like all of the other celebs out there. we want a sexy shoot of you with minimal clothing on, naked would be fine, as long as she is covered in the breast area. remember "sexy sells"

rules
must be a black background, but you can add stuff onto it.
must be from waist up
MUST be a sexy pose
hair/makeup- your choice
your name of the perfume must be on the ad ( it can be your name or anything you'd like )
make up a slogan that fits and put it on the ad
putting the perfume bottle on the add is encouraged. (you may need to photoshop)
you can be alone, but one other sim is allowed
