Ok, so I got my tiara accessory to work and show up properly. I deleted the imported projects in bodyshop, then went to try to open the project folder, to import once more (so i could get a proper tooltip) and now the project crashes my bodyshop everytime i click it. i'm assuming it has something to do with the files i deleted, and i dont know how to get them back(if its even possible) is there a way to fix this? or am i going to have to link a new recolor file to my mesh?

Have you looked in your recycle bin?

mootilda: i did, they weren't there. not surprising since i deleted them from in bodyshop and that doesn't tend to send them to the recycle bin, at least not in my experience.
ken: that's what i figured. that'll teach me to delete things before i'm done with a project.

That's too bad. If you're running Windows 7, I understand that the operating system keeps a backup of recently used files.

found the file in recent files, but couldnt access it. it says something about the location has moved or changed, and i cant find a way to restore it. and now i'm having issues linking a new recolor file. the mesh shows up properly in the build sims tab, but in the create parts tab, it still shows the old glasses mesh. not sure why this is or how to fix it.

I'm afraid that I don't know much about Windows 7; someone just told me that they managed to find a lost file because of this Windows 7 feature, so I thought that I'd mention it. The message that you're getting seems to indicate that the file is gone. Just an idea, sorry that it didn't work.

it was a good a idea, and had it worked, you'd have been my hero. as it is i'm no worse off now than i was before you mentioned it
