I'm new to SimPE and creation and I have a few questions.

I found a couple of cute models I want to turn into just deco for Sims 2, from a free model site.

I need some help with getting them low poly, and how to assign the multple textures they have.

Here is a link to one:

I have read quite a few tutorials, but I'd really like this explained to me in 'dummy' terms.

I have Milkshape and SimPE.

In simple terms ... there is no good, one way to go from high poly to low poly ... in fact, for most models, there isn't a way to do it.

As to the multiple textures -- Combine the original textures into 1-2 textures. Use a mapping program (UV mapper, the Texture Coordinator of Milkshape, etc.) to remap the part to the new textures. This is relatively easy in milkshape texture coordinator using the scalin feature and simple moves.

Okay, hmm.. can you show me a tutorial for doing the textures? It looks like he has four, is there a tutorial that is simple enough to follow?

I am not aware of a tutorial for doing that.
