hi I have question regarding building a apartments, & what I mean is create a one house where my sims lives in as landlords, & other sims that wish to live in separate homes as rent that they pay my sims for rent?

At present, sims can't earn money as landlords from owning houses where other sims live. Even the concept of rent hasn't been implemented in TS3. So sorry if this isn't the answer you were hoping to receive.

It's something I have considered looking into making, but I can't promise anything.

This would likely require a script mod, if not a core mod. So this would actually go under "Modding Discussion," if this sort of thing is even possible.
