My sim came back from China with a clone

I thought this was pretty funny. I've heard of families getting a little screwy after coming back from a vacation but my sim just came back from China and a few moments after he pulled up to his house a clone (only wearing underwear) pulls up and asks the butler to make him some food. :lol: It was for sure one of the weirder things I've encountered in the game.

Yep, the clone was playable and it appeared that the things in the inventory and skills were divided equally between them! I used object delete on one and it apparently was the wrong one because the remaining sim didn't have a career! In hindsight, I probably just should have killed off one instead of deleting.

This has happened to me before, the clone had relationships with the family but knew no one else.
I made the clone a slave in my household. Best gardener I've ever had. They were both old, even died the same day. *reminiscing*

After I got Generations, I sent a family on vacation for the hell of it. When they returned there was a clone of the child's imaginary friend (even though he definitely did not go with them)... but here's the kicker; he was suddenly transformed into a human and a YA. And he used to stalk one of my sims around the neighborhood... so I deleted him. Poor He-Snookie (he literally looked like a male version of Snookie; it was horrifying).

In other words, I feel your pain... or share your laughter. Whichever is applicable.

Happened to me before!
It is indeed very annoying.
I had 5 sims in my family and ended up with 10 after the adventrures in china.
I deleted all of them using testingcheatsenabled true and guess what?
It all went wrong I deleted the wrong ones right along deleting the same sims 2 times! :(
so now my family was incomplete and the I had the clones which have lost progress in the career,lost there relationships and so on.
