Yesterday the dog in my household had a relationship to a female dog not living in the same household. I wanted them to breed and tried it on the home lot and the lot where the female dog lived and it didn't give me the option. So is there a way that two dogs can breed although they are not on the same lot?

You must have a dog house on the lot. And I had yesterday the problem, that the relationship must be very high, and they could only breed, when they were in the family house and then they go outside to the dog house. When they were outside it would vanish out the list and they didn*t got to the dog house. Oh, the option is under romance.

Ok thats bad. I hoped that pets can breed although they aren't on the same lot belonging to the same family. :(

I'm pretty sure they can breed, my horse had the option to breed with a female wild horse except it said the wild horse household was already full.
I found that just like sim the animals need to do a few interactions before the try for baby option is available.

Ahhh - that sounds logical! I will try that - thanks!
