Hello, I'm new at meshes, I've read all the unimesh tutorials and I've done it, I've also done a lot of accesories meshes and I know that it isn't the same.
Well, I have 2 questions and I'd be so glad if you answer them.
1. I want to create a simple mesh I mean something like my own swimwear, something like this http://justsims2.ru/pictures/1228690409_NataliS_1208_38.jpg
2. I also want to know how to UVMap a NEW mesh

Sorry for my english, If you don't understand something please let me know.
Thank you for your help ;)

Thank you for your help ;) If you want a mesh looking like that well, just make a recolor of the basic swimsuit and then extract the 4 mesh parts same procedure like it's explained in unimesh1 tutorial. I'm a little confused as if it's a mesh that you want or are you referring to making a swimsuit recolor. can you be more specific cause, I can help you better. As far as uv mapping a mesh so, the clothes or the mesh display better with skintone, then follow the other two tutorials . I believe it's the one tiggy had written. It's simple and just a lots of trial and error to get good uv mapping. :turtle: :Pint:

To make a swimsuit like the one pictured, you shouldn't need to make a new mesh. A recolour of an existing swimsuit (or naked) body mesh will work just fine.

The swimsuit you've shown does not need a new mesh. If you made a new mesh, you'd be making a duplicate of what's already in the game. The only reason you'd need a new mesh would be if you wanted to make a swimsuit with a drastically different shape, like a swimsuit with a three-dimensional skirt.

In The Sims 2, most swimsuits are basically just painted onto a naked mesh (or a slightly modified naked mesh). Therefore, the mesh includes the whole body (arms, legs, etc.) as well as the swimsuit. If you want to make just a swimsuit, you could do it as an alpha mesh over a regular mesh (not recommended), but you'd still have to include the regular naked mesh in any case. Clothing is not separate from the body in the game. That's just the way it works.
