That top you are using as a base seems more like a sweater to me. Many T-shirts typically have a graphic that's small enough to have plenty of empty space, with the graphic centered or near-centered vertically. For as much content as that poster, a t-shirt may treat the entire shirt as a canvas. To do that, the entire night sky and whatever green stuff is at the bottom (plants?) would wrap around the shirt, with sleeves that matched (perhaps more night sky). That way it looks like a shirt which was made out of a movie poster; as opposed to what it is now: a top with movie poster simply slapped on top of it.
What image editing software are you using to make this? A clone tool could be used to copy the plants around the base of the shirt and extend the night sky around the rest of the shirt.

The tank (is it Maxis? The corner on his armpit is confusing me...) is much better than the sweater but I would choose a normal t-shirt. The second one on your picture doesn't really fit with the theme. It is very bourgeois in my opinion. There must be a lot of simply shirt in Base Game that you can recolor I think. Maybe you could post some screenshots of your sim wearing your creation which is taken from a front angle and well lighted? :)

bottom line is that you cant just paste a picture on a random maxis top and expect it to be uploaded. The point of sharing something here is that it's something that took time and effort, and isnt something i could recreate myself in 5 min with bodyshop. It dosent matter which shirt you use. just use your imagination and try and come up with something unique. Also, use the feedback fourm before you upload again, because if you try and fail too many times, you be put on restriction. Just keep trying and you'll get there.

I think the t-shirt could do with a texture. It's only what I think if you don't want to do ot that's fine.
