I kinda need to rant a little bit.
I've been a loyal fan ever since I was introduced to Sims 1, I now have all of Sims 1 and Sims 2.
I was very excited for Sims 3, but let's be honest, ever since Bon Voyage came out (with that terrible clogging bug) the quality of the game seemed to drop. I think we all see that.
ANYWAYS.
I've recently installed Showtime, but I get constant lags, I have the latest patch (1.32), and absolutely no CC with the exception of a nointro.package (that can't possibly cause all fo this!?) and several UPDATED Nraas mods (Debug, Error, SP, MC, Careers, and few others I can't remember).
The funniest thing is, despite being not recommended, CanYouRunIt shows that I exceeded Min Req. and I don't seem to find anything that I meet below min reqs.
I can say that it can't be my graphic card as it is Radeon HD 4600 (which has YES YES YES on every Ep except in Pets which is Maybe, but no nos.)
Maybe I just need to dust it.. but how could that affect the performance THIS BADLY.
To be noted, before Showtime was installed, I was playing on a custom small world I made for my Sim Big Brother, and it didn't lag even a little bit. But Starlight Shores is awful (which could also be a potential candidate, we al know how clumsy EA has gotten with the worlds).
So I just wanna know what the hell is going on and how can I fix it on my own? Despite spending majority of my life in front of a PC I have little info, as usually my dad used to do all of that for me xD.
