Operating system denied sims2?

Ok, months ago I had to uninstall my sims 2 so we could get our computer cleaned out. Since then there as been no sims 2 stuff in it. Now recently I wanted to play again so i bought a new one (game) (Other was to old and way to many scratches.)

So i opened the disk to day put in to install and says: "The operating system as denied access to the specified folder." :wtf:

Anyway if you can help at all I'd be grateful

also I need the safest way cause it's mot my computer but my mother who is also the administrator..and yes i tried running as the administrator

First, don't install to the default location but instead create a folder specifically for games, such as C:\ Games.

Next, be sure to right click> run as administrator when installing.

I don't even get that far this is when I go to install....strange thing is this has happen before and I fixed it but it was so long I don't remember :faceslap:
