Which incremental patch to 1.31 from 1.29 do I get?

I'm using Crincrit's blog for help on patching.

I'm not sure which patch I should download. There are different ones for different regions. I'm from Australia so should I get the worldwide one?

I don't know where to ask on her blog so I'm asking here.

Also, she says "After that you can either use the manual patch to 1.33 or use the launcher." I get an error when I open the launcher saying it didn't load the patch properly, so I should use FordGT90Concept's Sims 3 patch downloader, right? I've already got it and it says that the 1.33 patch is from 1.29. Since I'm going to patch it from 1.31 to 1.33 will there be an issue?
Should I not get patch 1.31?

Tells you how to find your game version by looking at your current patch level. Don't use the Launcher - you CAN (and it uses incremental patches) but if you do it manually yourself, you know exactly what you're getting.

I still don't know which patch to get. It says there are different ones for different regions: "Region 1 - Americas Region 2 - Worldwide Region 3 - Asian Region 5 - Japanese Region 7 - Digital Download"

I'm from Australia. I got my games from a store, except for Showtime, which I got from Origin (I haven't installed it yet). So do I get the worldwide one for 1.31 and the digital download one for 1.33? :help:

My base game and one ep have a different region code to my other eps and sps. Which region code should I choose for the patch?

Which patch are you downloading? For which game?

Base game's? Then match your base game's region code. Eg 1.xx.xx.0002 if you have region 2.

If you're getting a patch for the EP, then match the region code for that EP code. Eg WA would be 2.xx.xx.0001 if you have region 1.

They're patches 1.31 and 1.33. I'm pretty sure they're for Showtime. I haven't installed Showtime yet because I get a message telling me I need to patch first :/

Any patch that starts with 1. is for the basegame. :)
