Download sims duplicate cc

When downloaded sims have duplicate cc files does the game just use the one file so I can delete the duplicate/s even if they are installed in seperate folders?

Folders are for your benefit, not the game's. There is only one exception to this: if you have a mod which overrides another mod, then their order inside of the folders will matter.

I would recommend that you remove all of your duplicates.
