View Full Version : Can't cast "Spiritus Poultria" spell; the other Sim appears to be 'busy'

Hi there! So, I have an Infallibly Good Warlock. The Infallibly Good Head Witch of Pleasantview made him a warlock when he was a teenager living in an apartment, then he moved from there and started living as a young adult on Sim State University. He was a 'Nice Warlock' when he got there. He kept studying the Ways of the Light, until he became unmistakably one of the goodest warlocks world has ever seen. He even reached Magic Level 10. K, nuff said.

So, to sum up, an Infallibly Good Warlock with Magic Level 10 (with it no evil spells except "Spiritus Poultria" - which, when casted, makes target Sim act like a chicken) tried to spell the "Spiritus Poultria" spell on a Good Mascot (Llama) that was pissing his nerves (he kept poking my warlock! WTF?!). When I tried to cast the spell, I received a message saying "[Target Sim] looks busy right now, maybe I should do this later." I was looking at it weird, but then I looked at the mascot - and it was occupied fighting the bad mascot (Cow). OK, so I waited. When the fight finished, I tried again, and again, the same message appeared. I even asked that stupid cow to leave, but still, the llama was busy. I even made the mascot selectable (testingCheatsEnabled true - Shift+click -> MAKE SELECTABLE) to make sure he wasn't declared for anything (I also chose the right moments between him singing the school cheer) - but nothing, the message kept up appearing. Even tried the "Purgomagus" spell (to dispell magical effects on the Sim) - N. O. T. H. I. N. G.

So... is it always like that? Because even my Harry Potter is an Infallibly Good Warlock and stuff, little mischief is okay for him to cast... :)

Thanks in advance!

PS The "Expello Simae" spell (the one which banishes the target Sim)... I also have a problem with that one. Does it work only with the household members, or can it work with visitors and townies (because I've been trying to banish that cow (a visitor) for years... but the spell never appears to be available! Only with household members. Now, is that normal, or...)? Also (I've never cast it before because I'm quite scared of it's outcomes), what happens to the target Sim? Does it disappear from the game, appears again when I re-enter the lot...? :king:
