-what is your game patch number? I am assuming 1.33, right?
-did you start a new game after the patch, or did you resume an old one? sometimes random things happen when new games/updates are introduced into a save.
-when you go to set up the stage, does it go into the build mode, or does she just ignore the stage altogether?
-is only one specific stage affected, or are all of them acting this way?
also, if all else fails, try using the MasterController to "Reset Everything". that might solve some issues as well.

patch number starts as 12.0
i resumed an old save
when i tell her to set the stage she gets on and moves her arm like shes putting the props out and then she jumps off like it teleports her off. and its every stage
never heard of mastercontroller

i have world adventures, ambition, late night, outdoor living, generations, pets, and showtime. i assume patches are different depending on the ep's that i have.

The mastercontroller can be found here: http://nraas.wikispaces.com/MasterController
The mastercontroller gives you more control of the sims and the lots try reseting the lot if that doesn't work I would save your sim in edit town and restart a new town, sometimes one little bug can affect the whole entire town.

Remember, as the message said that displayed before you posted your thread...
If you're having any problem, issue, error, or glitch with your game, that's a job for MTS's Help section. There's both articles with common issues as well as Q&A support forums where you can ask questions and get specific help.

Try that first - every step, in order, and don't skip anything! Even if it doesn't say your specific problem, try it anyway, as it's a good starting point to rule out the most common causes of game issues.
If you still have trouble, you can post a new thread in the Help Q&A forums. There's a link to the Help Q&A forums at the top of every FAQ in the Help section. If you do post there, make sure to read and follow the directions that will display before you post there!
