Showtime: Singer won't perform gig

I recently got my sim her second gig at Flying V's coffee shop in Sunlight Shores(or whatever the new town is called). The gig went great until she tried to wrap up the show. It went on for an extra two sim hours than necessary. I reset her and she went back to her home lot. I just tried to get her to do the gig again and now she won't do anything. She just stands there with no mic or anything. My second issue is that this particular sim can't ask her romantic interest to be her boyfriend. I have the relationship up to where it says "John finds Kaitlyn extremely irresistible." This is extremely annoying and any help is appreciated.

Ok, deleting cache files didn't work. I don't have custom content so I can skip that, I guess its onto the third step. Sigh. I thought it wouldn't have to get to that but here we go. I'll check back in a few.
