So basically I used the allmenus cheat thing and asked a teen to become a roomate. Then I restarted the game(couple hours later) and I find that the entire lot has dissapeared(As in the building is gone but the land is still there) and all the sims that were on that lot dissapeared. Also, all sims that knew any sim on the lot at that time also dissapeared. I tried looking in SimPE for the missing sims, and I can't find any of them.
Actually I was trying to get a picture and reloaded the game again and the direct sims that were affected are back :/ but most of the other sims are still missing :P
Sorry for being so confusing, if there is anything I can add to help you understand please tell me
EDIT: The sims that came back have all skills reset and job. Knows nobody, and no longer has a college education
ANOTHER EDIT: All the aspirations of the sims have changed. And all are in the red

I don't suppose that you created a backup before trying that cheat? If so, I would recommend that you restore from your backup.

Nope :P Unfortunately making backups is kind of time and space consuming... The folder is like 30GB

You can probably fix the sims that have come back by using the sim blender. But I have no idea if you can recover the ones that are still missing.
Are your missing sims showing in SimPE?
(And I would strongly suggest making a backup of the current situation, as you -can- make it worse by trying to fix it.)

And trouble-shooting a busted game isn't? Backups can be made while you're doing other things, unlike when you're trouble-shooting your game and can't do much else at the same time.
As for space, it sounds like you may need to clear some junk off your hard drive. If it's nearly full, that could affect game performance. Of course, unless you have a whole lot of junk to clear, making a 30GB backup might fill it right back up, so you'd probably be better off finding an external hard drive for your backups. They're not very expensive.

No, the affected sims don't appear in Simpe

Well, if they don't appear anywhere in SimPE, then I'm afraid they are completely gone. I'm sorry. I hope you can make them over again from archetypes in BodyShop.
(Or you discover an old backup that you forgot you had.)

Unfortunately, if you have lost sims, then your neighborhood is likely corrupt.
