A while ago, I came across this tutorial at deviantART by Talisturo, and I tried to use it to make eyes for The Sims 2, but I didn't have a graphics tablet at the time so they were a disaster. I've have since bought a tablet and have been meaning to have a go at making some eyes, and have now finally got around to it. These eyes are hand painted by me in Photoshop, and come in default and non-default (contact) versions.
Defaults You can only have one set of default eyes in your game at a time, so you need to delete any existing version before installing mine. Also, you need to delete the simCompositorCache.package in your: C:\Users\(Your User Name)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 folder before these will show up on your existing sims. (path my vary depending on your operating system.) You need to choose to install either the small version or the EA-sized version of the defaults. Non-defaults Found under costume makeup in the game. They have one channel. They are for male and female, from Toddler to Elder. Not enabled for random, they are enabled for all outfits. The non-defaults look exactly the same as the defaults shown in the pictures. You can have both sets of contacts in your game, they have different thumbnails, so you can tell which is which easily. There are two files in the zip which are clearly marked as defaults and contacts, so you can choose to install one or both. Additional Credits: Talisturo @deviantART for her How to paint realistic eyes tutorial LadyFrontbum for the suggestion of Out of Sight for the name. Everyone who posted in CFF. Delphy for CTU, allowing me to make these. Inge and Peter for s3pe. wintermuteai1 for the non default eye tutorial aikea guinea for the default replacement eye tutorial Kanno for his Moonlight skins shown in the screen shots 162 people have said thanks to sleepalldaypartyallnight for this download.
