In-Game Painting

(Alright, I tried to place this as best as I could. There really should be a general board for all sims questions.)

I remember that you can take a picture you have on your computer and put it in your game for your sims to paint. Can you really do this? If so, how?

I searched for topics pertaining to this, but I didn't find anything. I also looked on MTS2 for tutorials...but nothing. Maybe I just skipped over it?

yep.. it's a feature that comes with the pets expansion pack. so you'll need to have that.
couldnt tell you exactly where the folder is that you should put your own images in, but have a browse. i'm sure it will be called something obvious like 'paintings'

if you have freetime its easier than ever to do your own paintings... I got tired of having to go through all those steps to get different paintings, now you can whatever painting you want and just add the pictures to the painting folder under sims 2 in your my documents, then choose paint custom painting from the easel and it pulls up a box that shows all the pictures that are available to paint... some thing can be done for the drafting table as well. whatever pics are in your painting folder will show up for both, as long as the pictures arent extremely large then they should work without a problem.

Make sure the pics are 1200x1200 pixels or less and 600kb total size or less. Then like stated above, just pop them into your sims2 folder under paintings.
