Why is it that the evil mastermind/nemesis almost always has 100 times the personality than the havering brainless hero(ine)? Playing Life Stories is like reading Jane Austen's Emma - you hate the main character. But at least Emma had some redeeming qualities. Riley is just a brainless twit. I keep yelling at the screen "Spine! Grow one!" and "Brain! Do you have one???"

A few weeks ago I started to play Pleasantview again and I managed it by now to makeover all Maxis-made families. Well, while playing I noticed: I really love Kaylynn! :lovestruc She's sooo cute and pretty in my opinion and her nice character makes me love her even more! In my game, she had a short affair with Daniel Pleasant, who has just reunited with Mary-Sue, when she spotted her belly growing bigger and bigger and... yeah, now she has a daughter called Holly (who is a redhead like her dad).

How do you guys change so many things on your Maxis Made Sims? I thought you could just change hair, makeup, & clothes?

Well, a lot of it involves default replacement eyes and skins. Also, if you have... I don't remember which ep, but the one with the plastic surgery reward object, then you can change their face. YOu can also do this with SimBLender or inSim, although, without that ep, in my experience, you're sort of doing a blind job.

Well, I have to assume that the names are a bit different from the English versions, since the name of the neighborhood (in English) is Floodplain House. (up to interpretation.) [Her full name is Patrizia Laschet, right?] All things considered, I'm fairly certain that Patrizia Laschet is Alexandra O'Mackey. (OR, maybe it's and older Jules O'Mackey? Hmm...)[then, of course, there is that one plantsim Rose Greenman. I've never turned her back into a human, so..?]

It definitely does look like a cured Rose Greenman (http://sims.wikia.com/wiki/Rose_Greenman). I'm not sure what skintone she has under the plantsim skin but neither Alexandra or Jules have S4 so that is definitely not them. In fact, there are no S4 female residents of Riverblossom Hills unless Rose is actually S4 under the plantsim skin. Per the wiki "As a normal Sim, Rose has dark skin like her daughter, and brown hair."

That's the kind of lines I though along.... whatever colour I thought of when I thought of the family. Don and Nina are so passionate it had to be red. Angela and Dustin's cheerfulness screams yellow, Dina's green is the colour of (well, American) money and the regality of purple suits Cassandra!

I think the hair I chose for Chester was one of very few, that I liked. It very difficult trying to get a style that sutis his face, what with his massive forehead, huge eyebrows and sunken in cheeks. Your game takes that long to load?! And to think, I get impatient if it takes more than 5 minutes. :giggler:

I recently resurrected them from the House of Fallen Trees, and they were all in desperate need of a makover. Due to them living in a creepy house, with a large basement, I thought it was appropriate to give all the family a Gothic makeover. The lighting isn't the best, but anyway.....

Raindrops757: I tried to make him look more serious and such, just didn't fit him. Besides, i am so used to him wearing Club Crimsyn wardrobe as teen and YA, so not wearing it as an Adult is a disgrace XD Thanks a bunch :D .
