Does anyone know how to make this? My sims has all the cooking options and I don't know how to make it.

The ingredients for Ambrosia are 1 Life Fruit and 1 Deathfish. You need to be able to grow the Life Plant, and have maxed out the Fishing skill, so you can catch a Deathfish, in addition to having maxed out the cooking skill.

You can find seeds for the Life Plant around the Science Facility in Sunset Vallet (Riverview, by the Stonehenge). You'll need level 7 of Gardening skill in order to plant these seeds, however.

Deathfish can be found in the pond at the graveyard. Deathfish are only able to be caught between the hours of about 2:00am and 4:00am... So make sure you've got a couple Angelfish to use as bait, to maximize the chances of catching one. If you look in the pond and see a purple cloud with a black, long, triangular shape swimming around in it, that's the Deathfish.

That should be all the information you need to make Ambrosia. Hope it helped!

You need to buy the cookbook from the bookstore, it costs 12000 Simoleans

Make sure you've learned the recipe. It's a very expensive one for sale at the bookstore.

Make sure you're looking at "Have Dinner" rather than "Serve Dinner."

Actually, it's only available for brunch. :) Level 10 cooking plus ingredients and recipe has to have been learned.

Oddly enough I can make it anytime. Not sure if that is just a glitch or what, always been able to.... ?

If you have awesomemod you should be able to make it any time.

And if you're going to spend 12,000 on a recipe it's (the mod) good to have so your recipe can be read by other sims and doesn't disappear. Course, you could cheat and use kaching, but I hate cheating...takes the fun away. :report:

My sims can make Ambrosia at anytime, too - without awesomemod. Sometimes I have to look twice, because it gets lost in the mass of recipies they can cook at this level.

deathfish is not just available 2:00am and 4:00am

the deathfish is available from 12-5 am for both towns, near the cemetaries. There is a limit of 6 fish until the deathfish dissapears and the area becomes "decent" instead of "active". If you stock your pool or pond with deathfish, it will only be "decent" area to fish, but you can fish 24/7

sorry to steal the thread but i had my ghost simmie eat the Ambrosia and she did something where she floted then sparkled and nothing happened she is still a ghost. Any ideas of what went wrong there?
