Help with version 4.5.6.009001

Hello. Ive not had time to go on my game for a few months, just turned it on now and it said it needed to download the new update so I let it and now it doesnt launch. "Your The Sims 3 Base Game is incompatible with the current expansion pack. Please update your game via the game launcher" Which is what I did in the 1st place.

I had Sims 3 (basegame), World Adventures and Ambitions. Had it working fine last time I was on, so know Ambitions is compatible.

Can someone help? :help:

Remember, if you're having any problem, error, glitch, or issue with your game, that's a job for the Help section. There's both FAQs with common issues, and Q&A forums if you can't fix it with FAQs.

Hopefully, you just need to patch your base game to the current version (1.17): http://www.modthesims.info/wiki.php?title=Game_Help:TS3_Patching:Patch_Download/Current

If that fails, please post a new thread in the Help Q&A forums (there's a link at the top of that FAQ, and every page in the Help section too) for more guidance.
