What time period are your parents or grandparents born in?

My parents grew up in the '60s and became teens in the '70s.
My grandparents grew up in the '30s and presumably became teens in the '40s. In other words, they lived during World War II as children, and yes, they were affected by it.
My great-grandparents were history. My father once told me that my paternal great-grandfather was a farmer and was well-educated. Then, life happened, and my father's side of the family moved to the city, or urbanised, starting with my paternal grandfather. My maternal great-grandfather owned a restaurant in a small town. -_-

Have you ever thought of creating a sim version of your family and travel back through time to the time period of your ancestors? Then, you make sim ancestors mate with their appropriate spouses and hopefully the child sim will grow up to look like someone in your family tree. :)

I had the thought of that but I have never did it actually.I was bad at playing those times,so I didn't want to kill my family

My mom was born in '60s and my dad was born in '50s.They both remember some important things happened in Turkey ,like coup(that happened only twice though,and they remember one of these events) and Bloody May Day.

My grandparents from mom's side were born in '30s so they remember the effects of WW II.They are both from a well-educated family.

My parents were born respectively in the 20s and 30s - which explains why I'm old enough to be your parent. Actually, I was the last child and my parents were relatively old (late 30s/40s) when they had me. In a similar way my father was born to older adults hence my paternal grandparents were born in the 19th century - the 1880s, in fact. And no, I have never (ever) wanted to simenise someone I actually know.

I don't think the sims genetics are that good, but it's a good idea to try out in CAS. Anyway, my parents were born in the '50s and my grandparents in the '20s but playing self sims never quite appealed to me.

I don't know anything about my grandparents, but I do know that my parents were born in the 50's.

My parents were born in the mid 1930's and had me rather late at 37 and 38 and likewise I had my own kids rather late at 35 and 38. :P My Grandparents I don't know without asking my parents. They have all been dead (grandparents) a long time. I do know my maternal grandfather was in the first World War (England) and they were one of the first houses in their area to get the new fangled contraption-the television in all its glorious black and white.

My maternal grandparents were born in 1913 and 1916, respectively. Grandpa once got busted for riding the rails during the Depression.

My mother is a baby boomer, my sister and I Generation X.

My maternal grandmother was born in 1910, My Mother was born in 1945.
My father was born in 1937, but I have no idea about his parents. His father died when he was 93 as did my maternal grand mother.
I was born in 1971
About bringing them to sims? Hell no!

I don't know my grandparents. My parent's foster parents were all born in the 20's and 30's, and my parents in the late 60's/early 70's. Both 80's teenagers! I'm a 90's child myself. Apparently my real father was in his early 40's when he had me, so 1994 - 40 is sometime in the 1950's.

My mother was born in Austria at the beginning of the second world war. She didn't know her father until the end of the war because he had to fight in the army but survived (1945). My grandmother died when my mom was 22, so I didn't know her. I was born in the 80's. My father was 58 when I was born and he already died. Because of Hitler he had to have a proof of ancestry so I know who my ancestors were since the early 17th century.

Grandparents= Most of them, no effing clue when they were born. Maternal Grandad 1910s. He lived to see in the new millennium.

I've tried simming my ancestry before... It was a royal co--up. Not worth the effort when all you are really interested in is getting a self sim that resembles you. It does pretty poorly at that.

My grandparents, or my grandmother and my father's mom (I never knew their husbands, one committed suicide when my dad was 14 and the other had a heart attack during the honeymoon) were both born in the early 20's. My grandmother was born in 1926 I think, and my dad's mom was born in 1922 or maybe earlier.
My dad was born in the late 40's, my mom in the mid 50's. I was born in 1993, my mom was barely 40 when I was born and my dad was about 45 or so.
My mom was born in October, I in November and my dad in December. :P

I've tried playing a sim-self but I didn't like it. I like playing with attractive sims. XD
