This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
To make this work, you have to patch the game to 1.22
This package simply adds 4 part of more realistic body hair to the new section (chest, belly, arms, legs-calves)

It may looks a bit blur on extra zoom but it's not my fault!
Same thing happens to the EA's too which I assume that it was a rendering problem itself.

TMZ_CustomBodyHair.zip 865.1 KB 67,126 20th Jun 2011
Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

Amazing! The only thing that's missing is a back hair replacement that instead of the gross shoulder back hair is just that little tuft on the small of the back that some guys have. Love ya work

Tried it out and this body hair is fantastic. Only thing I want to know, do the body hair have a limit of how much different body hair can be added? Also, why the No Hair box have the custom icon? Is that why I can't get the sim shirtless to see the hair while in that category?

Maybe because I combined 4 packages into one with s3pe?
It's much more compact this way.
And what do you mean by the last sentence "can't get the sim shirtless to see the hair"?
About the variety of body hair I think it's non-limit as long as you named your hair unique enough. Mine named as "TMZ (legs/chest/arms/belly) hair"

I have the same problem. When I click on 'body hair' my sim just stays in their everyday wear and doesn't strip down to their underwear like before. :/

I love the hair though, I just wish my sims would get shirtless in CAS for me to apply it!

Yeah, what Tenri said. I have to remember to make the male shirtless before sending to the body hair category. If I have to keep things this way to have some decent body hair, then fine. Just annoying when I forget to make the male shirtless and I try to do the body hair.

On a related note, I never had my sims strip down even while applying the crap that came with the game. I guess the sim should be dressed in the tatoo outfit, but it never worked for me. Also, I am unable to apply body hair using Twallan's Master Controller. So, I guess it has nothing to do with this package at all.

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love.
But the greatest of these is love.

Thank you so much for this. I love the skin that you created... one of the few things that survived my re-install of the game. Yay!

these are awesome. i was wondering if it would be possible to add body hair for female sims as well (just arms and legs, not tummies or back hair!!).

Great stuff, thankyou for making these. I agree with everyone , the detail sets them apart from the low res stuck on EA hair.

I am wondering if two things can be done. Firstly, extend the belly hair up so it touches the chest hair and merges, and widen the sides, so it is like the thickest EA belly hair but with your detailing.

Also , do you intend working doing some different levels of back hair? Your style of the EA ones would look amazing.

I have tried to extend the belly myself but without success (and btw, whatever I finish up with would be for my own use, I would not publish or anything so do not worry about that). I extracted the specular belly and loaded it into gimp...where i changed it and saved it to both a newly named file and also the same name which is then put back into the package. In a package explorer, the specular belly shows up as my attempt at extending, but in the game itself, it is still your one. This is my first go at trying these and have been following the tutorials but still stumped! lol. So please excuse my noobness.

If you have any ideas or hopefully intend to make more of these wonderful sets, it would be very much appreciated

Thankyou again

Hey TummyZa thanks for the great work, textures are much better than the original ones.

Just wondering if it's possible for you to make ones for teenagers too. Is it possible?
