Ever wonder where the social worker takes your children? The Sunshine Orphanage, that's where!

It is a residential lot, but in my game I used the cheat "changelotzoning dorm" to make it a dorm in my base neighborhood. As a dorm, it doesn't cost any money to move in or maintain which is a good feature. I have a "social worker" and children living in the home ready for adoption. Children taken by the NPC social worker will get temporarily "adopted" into this home. I did this so that those few children who never get adopted still have a chance to grow into active members of the community and aren't stuck in limbo. I'm also starting a self-reliant economy which means that Maxis methods will not work for this. If you would like to find more creative ways to play the game, I encourage you to read this thread by JadeElliot at MATY

Obviously you can play this house any way you'd like, but the rooms on the second floor are large because they are meant to house a lot of children. You will probably need to redo the second floor a little. Enjoy and I hope this inspires you to add a little variety to your game!

~The only furniture I changed for the pictures was the dining room. It comes with a Maxis set, but I absolutely loathe Maxis dining room sets. lol
