Welcome to the Oil Baron Career! Idea kindly provided by Dan Fixx, a couple of days of writing and several months of procrastination added by myself, and instructions/motivation by MTS2 (as it is still called, I believe).

EP compatible, at least, it works with FFS which is the only expansion I have. Please let me know if you have problems and I'll look into it.
Doesn't overwrite the base careers, yay...so here are the levels.

Oh, and the icon was a real headache so I ended up just drawing straight lines. I think it looks alright, although if someone can come up with something better I'd be happy to replace it!

Level One: Deep Sea Driller, $90, 0600-2000 Mon-Sat
You work on an oil rig in the middle of the northern oceans, spending your days drilling for oil in the sea bed. The days are long, lonely, and full of back-breaking work. Any hope of promotion depends on your knowledge of the industry, so study hard.

Level Two: Oil Rig Manager, $150, 0800-1800 Mon-Sat
You are now in charge of the drilling crew, and you need to keep on your toes. Good people management might attract the attention of the management at the land office (with it’s central heating and comfortable office chairs)...

Level Three: Paper Shuffler, $170, 0900-1800 Mon-Fri
A warmer office, a more comfortable chair. The only thing wrong with the current position is being a secretary. Still, what better way to learn about running the company? Paperwork will get you noticed.

Level Four: Rigs Overseer, $250, 0900-1800 Mon-Fri
You have three or four rigs under your supervision, and regular visits to ensure everything is running smoothly are a necessity. At least you no longer have to work on them all day!

Level Five: Petrol Tanker Driver. $320. 0700-2000 Mon-Fri
You’re on the road again... Du’h! Driving petrol tankers is a big responsibility, so make sure to take care around little vehicles. Such as every other car on the road!

Level Six: Tanker Shift Manager $490, 0700-1800 Mon-Fri
It’s your job to ensure the petrol gets to the people who have paid for it, on time. That said, be sure not to burn your drivers out. This job is a balancing act so make sure you keep on top of things! Some light reading wouldn’t go amiss either

Level Seven: Petrol Company Liaison Officer, $540, 0900-1700 Mon-Wed, Fri, Sat
Your self-esteem is greatly bolstered by the title, but the job itself is crazily hectic. Petrol company reps flood your office with emails, phone messages, and calls constantly, all wanting to know if they can get a cheaper deal for crude oil. As if they’re not making a killing anyway! Still, you get a few overseas jaunts at the company’s expense and a few too many good meals courtesy of the petrolites. Watch your figure, otherwise you won’t be able to fit on the planes!

Level Eight: Advisor, $660, 0900-1700 Mon-Thurs, Sat
Your job is to advise the board of directors on matters they can’t be bothered researching themselves. It can be a thankless job, but it is an invaluable opportunity to poke your nose into all sorts of interesting places, and the more you know the better your chances of finding someone to blackmail for large sums of money.

Level Nine: Company CEO, $780, 0900-1500 Mon-Fri
The Oil Barons may own the industry, and get all the money, but it’s you who does all the work. But don’t worry, you will be rewarded in heaven! In the meantime, enjoy the complimentary petrol. :D

Level Ten: Oil Baron, $4730, 1000-1400 Tues-Thurs
Some people might expect you to sit around in a tent in the middle of the desert all day, but you’ve got better ideas than that! Of course, if you want to, you could, but tents are so...primitive. However, wherever you go, you have the obligatory incense and brightly coloured cushions. Just to set the mood, you know.

Enjoy!!
