I there if you have the time could you please help me understand what is going wrong with my skins when using the skinintator and the reflectivity/shine option? Sometimes when I make a skin and turn the reflectivity down this happens:
If you have any insight I would much appreciate it. Thank you for your time.

I'm sorry, but this was a long time ago and I've forgotten a lot. If you want to upload your package I can take a look, but mostly you'll just have to experiment.

I understand, i've made stuff for these games in the past and completely forgotten how I did it. xD Thank you for replying and trying to help despite that. Here is the skin. It looks like the specular is really high despite me setting it to be low and looking at the file in S3PE doesn't tell me anything either. I have a specular default replacement but I think it's being overridden somehow. Altho thank you for making this helpful tool! It makes skin making so much easier!

When I open your package in Skininator, I see these TONE settings which have the shine turned up all the way:

Were you looking at other settings? When I turned it down to the middle of the scale it looks fine in CAS as far as I can tell.

Honestly, I've learned so much more about making tools over the last 10 years that Skininator looks horrible to me and really needs a complete overhaul. I don't know how long that would take though.

Oh wow it must have glitched upon saving because this is what I set it to:

I figured out that if I just don't touch that slider it works fine, no specular issues. Thank you for having a look and responding! I hope you have a great day!

Hi I know you're not working on this any more so maybe someone else can help if you can't. I just want to know, if I open a skin I downloaded in this can I remove some of the tones, like purples and greens that I will never use? Then repackage it and rename maybe. I have some cracking skins that I don't like the tones of and would love to fix them for my needs.

It's been a long time since I worked on this, but I think you can just delete them in the tone ramps tab.

Thank you, it's tedious going through all the useless samples to find one I want, I'd like to put names on some too that the creator didn't do, I'll find the name in S3PE if this program doesn't show them. Appreciate your time

Is there no way to separate between male child and female child?

I don't believe this glitch has been documented, but when creating a default skin, the changes made to the child lifestate do not save. All other lifestates save fine. After trying to manually apply defaults in s3pe, skininator was able to read them and did not wipe them from the file when saving through skininator. However, any additional changes made to the child lifestate, even after entering the RKs manually for some texture files, do not save.
