You are welcome. I'm always happy to call EA dumb and fix their stupid mistakes

Will this be compatible with the 1.29 patch?

I'd expect it to be because of the nature of the xml file this modifies, but I will be checking all of my mods before the end of the weekend.

If you followed the link in the very first sentence you would know I am updating them as soon as I can.

Also, please give modders more than two days before you start asking for updates. This patch was released in the middle of the week and so I have not had time to update until today.

No, because it doesn't need to be updated. Follow the link to my journal and you will see which of my mods needs an update and which do not.

Sorry for the delay in responding. I use this mod regularly myself and have never encountered this phenomenon.

It should (in theory) be impossible for any of my tuning mods to cause this effect. All they do is edit default values and set them to something else (or in this case add one that was missing which is present in every other career). This mod in particular does not touch the map tags, nor does it edit any of the other careers in any way.

To get to the bottom of this (assuming you are still having this issue) I have a few questions I hope you don't mind answering.
  1. What was the process you used to determine this mod was the cause of this issue?
  2. Do you have any other mods that conflict with this one?
  3. Do you have any other mods which affect careers? This includes ones that edit existing careers (such as this one or my Increased Pensions mod) and add ones that add custom careers (such as NRaas Careers and MissyHissy's Job Centre).
  4. What patch are you on?

Hi. If you are using this mod along with MadamDoofie’s Minimum wage or Evm’s Realistic wage mod, both mentioned mods will not work. Seems to me that there’s a compatibility issue with them.

After using this mod for so many years, I had to delete it to give way to realistic wages for my sims. Thanks still

Hi — I've downloaded and extracted this mod to the packages file, but the work hard option still isn't showing up for athletics. I'm playing the latest patch of the 64bit and metal release, if that helps. I don't have other career mods.

Check for mod conflicts, that your mod folder structure is correctly configured, and that mods are enabled. Pay special attention to core mods, as ones that use the same xml file (like Awesome mod) will simply override this mod and make it have no effect.

Otherwise I'm not sure what would cause this. Metal release is the new 64-bit Mac version right? Unfortunately I do not have a Mac so I am unable to test this mod with the Mac version of the Sims 3.
