Title: BV Axe Throwing Skills & Fitness Patch

Purpose

In testing my Gwrych medieval neighbourhood I have been growing frustrated with the lack of authentic exercise opportunities for my Sims. This upload patches the Bon Voyage "Axe-olutely Throwing Station" so that it builds body skill, fitness, and - if FreeTime or later is available - sports enthusiasm. The rate of increase is set to be the same as the Bench Press, Butterfly and Leg Press Exercise Machines. The English language version is 1.3 kB in size and is downloaded in sdAxeThrowingSkills_BV.zip.



Installation

The package file may be installed in any Downloads folder. If you wish to revert to EA non-skilling axe throwing, simply delete the patch at any time when the game is not running.

I would recommend using this patch in conjunction with Pescado's Community Lot Skilling and Enthusiasm so that this and all other skill building objects are fully functional on all lots.







Terms of Use

I do not recommend including this patch with uploaded lots because I believe that players should be able to freely choose which patches and hacks they wish to use. Therefore, please ensure this file is only available directly from here.

International Version

This option supports all Sims 2 languages, is 2.2 kB in size, and is downloaded in sdAxeThrowingSkills_International_BV.zip. The filename of the patch itself is identical to the original English language version, so you may easily switch from one to the other simply by overwriting the file. You will notice in the screenshot below that the English text is slightly different in the International version, in that it follows the standard word order for a Sims 2 Skill Gain dialogue box.
