2021 UPDATE!!! - I'm adding a new file with an almost CC-Free UC update. The only CC included i this version is Frillen's Invisible Tile and Flooring.

Woodland Park - now with a swimable lake!

I started out to make this for strictly basegame, but then I realized I wouldn't use it unless it was for all EP/SPs. So, I also made a version with everything. If you're only interested in the Park for the full-game, you may want to skip down past the break.

OK. Basegamers, here's what the newly renovated Woodland Park has to offer you:
Besides the swimming capabilities and new dock, I've tweaked a few other things to my liking (feel free to change them back or whatever) I added another chess table, added more seating to the playground - and in general elsewhere around the park, I added a few more grills and another eating table, and I spruced up the bathrooms with a paint job and some mirrors. I also changed the gravel path to park-bark. And, changed the wood on the bridge and the gazebo so it matches the beautifully finished new dock (thank you iCad!). I think that's about it... oh, wait, I transplanted a few shrubs etc, to make way for the fitness trail (which uses BV and FT exercise equipment.)

The one draw-back, that I don't think can be helped for basegamers, is the 'transparent floor' edges. To create a swimable lake you need to have a 'floor' that sims can swim through. Frillen, here on MTS2, made a really nifty 'invisible floor', but it needs NL or higher. (I tried it with just BG - it crashed.) So, for the BG version I used Niol's clear transparent floor tiles - and their edge is unavoidable. I hid the edge as well as I could - please add more plants to suit your needs.

For those of you with a game configuration somewhere between BG and everything. Please download the BG version and add the exercise equipment that you have available to you in your game.
Then fix the 'edges' in the water - the easiest way to fix them is this:
1) Choose an outrageous floor tile (like a bright yellow carpet, or the black & white checks) put the tile down in the middle of the lake somewhere and hit the 'shift' key. The swimable tiles should all change to your new floor. Then hit 'enter' (left click) to make it stick.
2) Get Frillen's Invisible Floor and follow the same procedure as step #1. Your floor should disappear. - You might not see the one tile turn invisible under the water, but when you hit 'shift' you should see the whole thing disappear.

You don't really need to do step #1 (with the floor tile of your choice) I just think it makes it easier to see what happens.

If you have Seasons, you'll have fish - you can swim with the fishies! Just don't get hooked - fishing happens.

THIS IS THE BREAK
#########################################################

For those of you with all EP/SPs (except H&M - I don't have that one...) the "ALL" download is for you. It includes all of the above (with no floor edges) and a Fitness Trail. I added a slide -*whee*- to the dock, the playground has been expanded quite a bit, and there are exercise stations along the trail. TaiChi and Yoga classes are offered continuously (I used sigil5's Exercise Class mods for these.) There is an area to shoot hoops - both the Pleasant girls enjoyed that one. I also included a pool table in the gazebo. The Human Statue dude and the Break Dancer have signed an unlimited contract, and are planning to just 'live' at the park.

Things that were used, but are NOT included: these are ONLY for the Everything/ALL players *sigh* I don't know why I couldn't get them to jump in the file with everything else!
(Basegamers don't need anything extra) - these 2 items went happily into the BG Sims2Pack.

BOTH versions use Numenor's DeckStairs_Main - please read his post for more information. There is no script file because these override EAxis's original stairs.

To Install this lot: This lot can be installed anywhere, of course, but if you want it to replace of the original Woodland Park in Pleasantview - first move the original to the Lots and Houses Bin (you'll still have it, if you ever want to go back) then put this version in it's place.

Thanks & Credit:
Thank you to the wonderful talented creators here on MTS, and to those who took the time to write tutorials - I couldn't have done any of this without your help!
