I and in the middle of a project and i an using this mod to do and i'm having an issue with turn the slots.... i can do do it but when i export the package i export it to ends up with no slots... i have used this mod with success before... but i'm sure its something I'm doing wrong.... can you help?

I have a question.... I downloaded this in hopes to add slots to something. Someone converted a shelf.... It's a real old post never been updated. Anyway! That person did not put slots on it. SO what I did was.... I exported the slots from a different package and added it to the shelf package after I moved the slots around to where they needed to be... I followed your instructions on this post step by step. Imported into blender and out just fine. I closed blender and then opened the slot file again just to be sure it exported right... Then added to the package file saved it added to my mods folder.... I was happy! Then pissed off because it didnt work. Could it be because it's a slot file from a different file?

I have no idea how to add slots to something that's why I downloaded this because I thought it would be easier.

Does anyone know if this works in Blender 2.9x or better yet 3.x ?

To answer my own question "Sadly, No!" Blender complains the script needs to be updated for 2.8.

I know Blender 2.8+ but not Python, only person I know who knows Python doesn't know any Blender at all. So I guess I need to learn Python.
