Information (Click for more details):
Maxis Recolour
This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS2 - check the sidebar.
This is a new mesh recolour, and means that you will need to download the particular mesh itself in order for this to show up in your game. See the Meshes Needed section or read the text for more information.
In the Sims 2, everything is colored brightly and cheerily. Everything, that is, except for the foliage. Our poor sims must contend with plants that look like -gasp!- real, dried out summer plants instead of picturesque perfection. Their fall plants are dull brownish hues, instead of the vibrancy that would make the chore of raking leaves worth it. And winter- well, they can deal with that. But sims deserve plants that are worthy of their environmental score. They deserve recolors!
Plants recolored: Birch Tree Sapling EasyShade Bay Tree The Simple Weeping Willow All of these plants only require seasons and the base game to work. Unfortunately, due to how the game handles the snow on trees, they will not display snow if they aren't in winter stage, but it's a small price to pay for four seasons of prettiness. You can say that some trees had a genetic mutation that caused their leaves to repel snow and gardeners selectively bred the trait, if it makes you feel better. Additional Credits: SimPE- For making this possible Bienchen83- For her very useful birch tree recolor template, which I used for the birch and based the other two off on: http://sim2me.de/ Echo- For her tutorial on making seasons compatible tree recolors that even a SimPE newbie like me could follow: http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=245117 185 people have said thanks to Owfin for this download.
