thank you so much! i have been looking for a mod to extend minor pet lifespan for a while, only found this one because it was linked in a forum thread. you might want to add the lifespan bit to the title so its easier to find.

I was looking for a mod that would stop my sims from autonomously playing with the pets for just this reason, My Mermaid keeps wanting to play with her bearded dragon lizard and then she puts him in her inventory instead of the cage meaning a while later I get the "Has run away" message. Thanks Gobot

I love collecting everything, and I would run into trouble when my Sims were on vacation. I'd be in Egypt, say, and come across something rare and have no way to take it Home with me, you know? Thanks so, so much for fixing this!
