Silencing Those Annoying Snores with This Mod

As seen from the little cartoon I made, the entire sims family is snoring when they sleep (or nap). For those who don’t like to listen to snoring sounds in real life, how could they stand it in the game? If you wished for a mod that could stop the snoring sound like Lombus had, this is the mod for you.

This is a global mod, it stops all the snoring sounds sims make while sleeping in a bed, on a sofa, and on an inclined chair of all maxis made and custom ones (one tiny file can do all that, how nice!), by disabling the corresponding sound reference files. It affects all age groups except baby and toddler (they never snore in the first place). However, I do not know if they snore from passing out on the floor or on the dining table. I couldn’t test it because I did not want to treat my sims badly with bad memories.






My mod has been playtested extensively in my game and in another person’s game, it is compatible with all EPs, i.e. you can have any combination EPs all the way to AL. I expect it will work in the base game only too (i.e. without any EP) because the sims’ sleeping behavior has not changed since the base game, although I could not test it myself. I could not use Numenor’s AnygameStarter mod because my game is not compatible with his mod.

Note 1: This mod turns off the snoring sound but not other sleep sounds such as from turning the body, dreaming, and occasionally talking during sleep.

Note 2: To the best of my knowledge, this is the first 'no snoring mod' ever made, I searched everywhere on MTS and on the internet but could not find similar mod, therefore, there is no conflict of this type, if you know of other no snoring mods out there, please let me know, thanks.

Download Instruction: Unzipped the file and put it into your normal downloads folder, your sims will stop snoring instantaneously.
Uninstall Instruction: Just remove the file and your sims will snore again.
