Borehamwood Manor is based heavily on parents' real life home... Being Sims, it's tough to get an exact match, but for the most part, it is. The outside is pretty much as close as you'll get in a life-to-sims build, and I've kept the interior colours similar as well. It was definitely a challenge; building from imagination is so much easier than building from real life homes!
Downstairs, you have the living room to the left of the entrance. Next to the living room is the kitchen & the dining room is directly next door, with a lovely archway connecting it to the kitchen. The study is located next to the dining room, and access to the conservatory is through the study. A door next to the study door leads you to the garage, and to the right of the front door, there is a small cloakroom/restroom.
Upstairs, the guest bedroom is at the bottom left, directly opposite the stairs. Across the small hall from the guest room is the main bathroom, and next to is is the first double bedroom. You then come to the second bathroom, and next to it, the second double bedroom. Right next door to that is the children's bedroom, in a bright unisex design.
There is a small garden that is accessed either through the conservatory, or through the side gate at the front of the house. Out here, there is a rather lovely raised flowerbed, and a patio/BBQ area, perfect for entertaining your guests!

Install Instructions
Quick Guide:
1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

About Me
Hi! So glad I finally joined here! I signed up because my sister is a member here, and she's always said about how good the quality is here! I'm hoping to be a much more active member of the community than her though... both on the boards and with my uploads! She basically only comes to download things nowadays... I plan on uploading a LOT!
I love creating things for the Sims 3! The things I do most are houses and sometimes sims, so those are the two things I'll be focusing on uploading here! Feel free to use my creations however you want, just don't upload them or claim them as your own. ;-)
