So I guess you could consider this the companion upload to this one over here: http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=443346
And it only took me, what? Two years to make?
In any case, I love Buggybooz's Kitchen Basic Set. It's generally the only one I use, in fact. And since I'm about to embark on a building binge, I needed colors. In fact, I needed them so very desperately that I resorted to making these files on my netbook, even though it runs SimPE at the speed of a sloth on Quaaludes. So it took me like 8 hours to make 24 files, most of it spent waiting for the poor little computer to just do something already!
...And then after I went through all that, I unexpectedly acquired a desktop this past weekend which runs SimPE a whole lot better, like at the speed of a hummingbird on meth. It figures. But hey! It means better pictures for y'all, since I figured I might as well share these. So here's one of the colors, which happens to be Burnished Amber, on a couple of pieces of the Kitchen Basic set:
But you know, as I was making these, I decided that chrome hardware wasn't exactly the optimal color on some of these wood colors. So, I made a version with brassy hardware, too. Unfortunately, the hardware is not separately recolorable, so this means 24 files instead of 12, but for my purposes it was worth it. IMO, one hardware color or the other looks better on each of the wood colors, generally depending on whether the wood color is warm or cool, but I went ahead and made each color in both a chrome hardware and a brass hardware version, anyway. If you keep them all, you can decide which you like best. Here they all are:
These require you to have at the very least the master counter of the Kitchen Basic set. (But really? You want it all.) The mesh is not included, per Buggy's policy. Since other stuff (Like Buggy's Shakerlicious kitchen) is also slaved to that set, these files will recolor that stuff, too. I uploaded two zips, one with the chrome hardware version and one with the brass, so if you you don't want both you don't have to have 'em. The files are all Compressorized down to make cramming them into your Downloads folder a little easier/less painful. All of the files are clearly named so that you can more easily get rid of the colors you don't like/want/need, and for your reference I even tossed the three collage images above into each of the zips, too, thus bloating the file size even moar, mwahahaha!
Oh! One note. These don't have dirty states. Neither do the countertops in the older upload, for that matter. This is deliberate on my part, for a simple reason: If I see dirty counters, it's very hard for me not to send a Sim to clean it, and I really don't want to do that because I'd rather that be something they choose to do (or not do) for themselves. So, I don't like dirty states, and since I still create stuff mostly for me and my own strange purposes...there you are. If anyone wants to add dirty states to these, feel free to do so. But that's not on my own agenda, I'm afraid.
And there you have it, my dears!

Me, in a Nutshell
Nowadays, I mostly upload stuff to my Simblr, simply because I'm lazy. You can find me here: http://dramallamadingdang.tumblr.com You can also find some downloads that aren't here on my LJ, I don't upload stuff there anymore, but there is some older stuff there. It can be found here: http://icads-sims.livejournal.com/
