Some Sims, through a lifetime of hard work (or one lucky guess on a career chance card!) have enough money to afford whatever they want in this life. Not content with simply thinking of themselves as being above the rest of Simkind, they almost always find themselves drawn to apartments that LITERALLY put them above those other Sims. Thanks to these elitists, buildings filled with luxury penthouses are built.
This building towers above nearly all others even in the busiest of Downtowns. From its facade clad in golden-brown marble stone, to the red carpet entrance, to the private courtyard off the building's exclusive gym, this building screams decadence to any who see it.
Just above the lobby, a two-story bar sits waiting for parties or evening cocktail gatherings held by the wealthiest of Downtown's elites.
All four apartments in this building provide Sims with the most opulent lifestyle imaginable- state-of-the-art kitchens, modern fireplaces, and unparalleled city views, and your Sims will get what they pay for- even the cheapest apartment costs a whopping $4349 per week. However, the lower stories, which would easily be the most expensive residences in any other building, still pale next to this luxury skyrise's penthouse apartment, at a price that only the richest of Sims can afford... $9434 a week (plus the butler service that is expected in such a high-class building! )
An entryway with a wall serving no purpose but to display the finest in modern art and a two-story living room clad in the finest green marble, with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, provide a spectacular entrance to this house. On the higher levels, your wealthy Sims can enjoy a kitchen larger than some Sim's houses, and two bedrooms allowing them to take their slumber in the same luxury they spend their waking hours. Finally, the highest level has an opulent lounge area, and an office fit for the richest of business tycoons. Without question, this is one of the most extravagant buildings in the city, and your 1% Sims will be very happy here.
As with any building that towers so high above the gritty streets, this highrise has much more in it than the average 2X4 lot, so it may cause an older or slower computer to lag, and the limited footprint means that positioning the camera to use the highest levels can be tricky. (I suggest using a very low camera angle at a high zoom level, but you can find whatever you think works best) The lot is certainly still playable though- and be honest with yourself- whatever you may think of the extravagantly wealthy in real life, when your Sims reach that pinnacle of decadence, it's a lot of fun to play!

- You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

About Me
Sims? What are Sims? I almost always just use this game to create buildings!
You might call me a CC-atheist. While I'll use every cheat code in the book, I won't use anything that Maxis didn't ship with the game in one fashion or another. Ergo, you can rest assured that all my lots are CC-free.
Some creators describe themselves as constantly juggling projects. I suppose I do that too, except I'm really really bad at juggling, so I just throw lots of projects as high as I can, and sometimes forget all about them until they come crashing down on my head!
I won't *exactly* do requests, but since I pivot from lot to lot constantly, if there's a place you hope to see from me, there's a good chance that I've already started it! I make no promises, but feel free to ask about lots you want to see- you might inspire me to finish something!
My lots are my own work- I put a lot of effort into them, so have fun with them, use them for storytelling or making Sim movies, but please don't reupload them, in whole or in part, anywhere, including here on MTS!
One day I will rule the world with an iron fist and all will kneel before me.
