1 storey library with skill books located in colored-coded shelving. There is a science room where your sims can skill up in chemistry, science and alchemy. There's an art room where your sims can practice their guitar, painting, drafting and sculpting skills (inventors skill up in a separate area). Toddlers and kids have spaces to get a head start on learning as well, and don't worry about potty-training as the bathrooms have potty chairs for your little ones. A snack bar and vending machine are also conveniently located in the library.

The Kenmore Library, is the inspiration for this lot.

SKILL BOOKS by COLOR-CODED SHELVING:
Alchemy= Yellow patterned shelf
Charisma= purple shelf
Cooking= dark green shelf
Gardening= Light Green shelf
Handiness= dark brown shelf
Inventing= LOW sky blue shelf
Logic= dark blue shelf
Science= LOW orange shelf with geometric pattern
Street art, Social Networking, & Photography: "Melville and Milkcrates" bookshelf by main entrance
Comics= LOW blue & yellow checkered shelf
(if you should happen to change the lot into a "residential" lot, this shelf will also contain the "fishing" books from the bookstore).

Pregnancy books= low white shelf
Miscellaneous books= LOW red shelf and Castle bookshelf

TODDLER BOOKS: *reading these books will help your toddlers start-off on level 3 for logic, painting and writing once they age up (and start learning skills).
Yellow shelf: painting skills
Green shelf: writing skills
Hot Pink shelf: logic skills

-Lighting in the library is provided by "invisible" ceiling lights located under the "buydebug" cheat.
-The "Sippin Succulents" (located in the recessed nooks) on the exterior, were part of the FREE "Prius Family Collection" in the Sims 3 store. I have included the succulents in this lot. *21 Dec., 2015: unfortunately you can no longer see the entire collection at the sims 3 store .

Please note, although I placed the books in specific shelves, the game tosses in random ones as well...c'est la vie.
Also, "CFE" was used to build the top half of this library, use caution when "renovating".
