I love cabins! Can you tell? It seems I'm turning Willow Creek into a mountain community, and that's just fine! I'm still on starters and eventually I'll work my way up to larger homes....for now I'm getting used to build mode in 4. The original idea for this cabin was inspired by a hunting cabin I'd been in as a child, and I wanted to try creating that in the game. If nothing else it might make a good rental unit for Granite Falls when Outdoor Retreat is released
This cabin has an open floor plan and will sleep 3 sims. I couldn't make an outhouse directly on the ground and it looked silly on a foundation so I ended up attaching it to the rear of the house. Maybe someday they'll give us split level foundations. For now our sims have to actually go "outside" to get to the bathroom so I suppose it's still an outhouse of sorts. Different at least
This lot has been fully play-tested and worked just fine. Should you run across any issues please comment and I'll correct them.
No custom content was used on this lot. Game items only
I hope you enjoy playing with it as much as I had fun in building it!

About Me
I've been playing the Sims since the Sims 1 came out in 2000, and started building lots and creating Sims in the Sims 3.
My favourite builds are worn out, rat infested hovels but I also enjoy the challenge of creating lots that represent buildings in the real world.
All of my lots were created on an iMac, but after getting the new M1 iMac, I've learned some of those lots have graphics issues, so I'm slowly altering them to avoid this issue. I will upload the M1 compatible files when they are completed.
All new builds are completed in Version 1.70 (64-bit Mac). They are tested on a Windows computer and an older iMac running Version 1.67 (32-bit).
