Preston Baldwin. Many recognize him as one of the wealthiest actors in the business. Whether you knew him or not, one thing was for sure: he was rich. When Preston first came to town, he knew he wanted to build a home that would put shame to anyone else for miles. And so that's exactly what he did. Over two years of planning and building, the Baldwin estate was finally completed. It was around that time that he had met his would be wife, Crystal, while vacationing in Paris. After they were wed, the pair moved into the grand estate and went on to have three children, all daughters. Crystal was an artist and spent most of her time in her studio above the library, while Preston, being a collector of fine artifacts from around the world, decided to turn the third floor of the home into his own private collection room. Many balls and events were hosted at the home in the grand ballroom including all three of their daughter's weddings. There was rarely a time when the dining room wasn't populated by guests and staff enjoying a small party.
The family went on to live in the mansion until Preston's death at the age of eighty nine. Crystal passed away three years later, leaving the home to the children. Wanting, however, to move on and go their own ways, the three daughters ended up giving the estate to the city. The house still stands with all of it's original furnishings and fixtures intact and is ready for anyone who may be able to somehow afford it. Can your Sim?

(Holy cow this build way a tricky one! But I really hope you enjoy it! The foyer of this house is by far my favorite part! That and the swimming pool! )
