Ok but this is so innovative though, I'm so glad to see there's still people like you making innovative mods years after EA ended Sims 3's cycle

Hi everyone, thank you & hope it works out well. - I need to add that you can use cc eyelashes makeup by others, just shorten the top eyelash with the standard game top eyelash slider in the eyebrow CAS panel. I avoid the eyelash remover or shortener mods that people have created and with custom eyes, so if you are using burntwaffles or EscDEFeyes, try re-downloading their version that keep the eyelashes. My theory is that artificial eyelashes are stuck onto natural eyelashes in real life anyway.

I like this, thank you!! And Thanks for explaining what would happen if used along with eyelash remover. That is clear and understandable!

This is great! I've always wanted my sims to have bottom lashes, but using makeup ones and leaving my townies bald eyed annoyed me. I can't believe no one else has done this until now?

I did come across one issue though. With children and males, there's a weird black line under the bottom lashes while wearing half of the tops or outfits in the game. They do seem to work perfectly with toddlers and females however. Hopefully it's fixable

I've included an image to show what I mean ^^

I did a quick investigation of the the UV's, they looked okay. I can tell that the line is some leftover ink on the very edge of the eyelash textures.
The eyelash textures are on the same dds image as the eyes, I wonder which eye defaults you're using. I have only tested EscEyes(Eskin) , Burn't waffles and EA.
I was once also getting a strange black line behind the jaw (not related), which I found was one of the CC makeup contact lense eye overlays.

Extra Notes:
I have seen over the last few weeks with different v/high, medium and low sim detail settings, that they can still load Lod0, but only accessories,
the eyelashes(face) still only loads on v/high sim detail. I was suprised because was trying to view a lod2 mesh while testing another mod, that very high detail leaves out lod 2 and jumps straight from lod 3 to lod 0 & 1, while high medium & low sim detail shows lods 3 2 & 1 only, depending on camera distance.
I am currently making these lashes for Lod1 (available in next few days) , it will work for all sim detail settings when out of CAS.
In the past I found that my CAS resolution in graphic rules was not correct (pixelated) and changed it back from 1024 to 2048.
I think I tinkered with it a long time ago on my previous, slower laptop.

Wow I didn't realize the eyelash and eyes are on the same dds. I was using Burnt Waffles Ephemera MS93 default. Unfortunately nothing changed when I took out all my defaults. Like I said, for some reason this only happens on males (teen to elder) and children, when they wear about half of the tops and outfits. Maybe I'll try tinkering with the graphic rules settings later and see if it's got anything to do with that. I am playing on very high sim details though. By the way, I like how in depth you go in all your mod descriptions and replies. It's like a little peek behind the curtain of how modders do things haha.

I've attached two pics using EA eyes, I forgot how bad they look lol. Same sim in both, but while wearing a different (base game) top.

It's obviously something really minor that I can easily live with, but I just thought you'd want to know about this in case others have the same issue :P

Default Bottom Eyelash - weird line on edge has been fixed
Thank you for pointing this out, I would have not noticed this otherwise.
I learn't that the UV co-ordinates must not be so close to the edges of the image.

Please re-download & remember to clear Cache files and WorldCache folder files.

Hey thank you for fixing it. They're perfect now. Having some Burnt Waffles default eyes is definitely a must, I couldn't find anyone else who has actually retextured the EA lashes. Here's some more pics for fun
