Mod Making on Hiatus

Date Posted: 29th Mar 2012 at 12:08 PM

Hello everybody,

Just got a job in RL making money (yay!), so I'm not planning on making any new mods for a while. I'll still sign in every once in a while and make sure my current mods haven't broken anything or been broken by the latest patches (hate that).

Have fun simming!

Update Please

Date Posted: 30th Oct 2011 at 4:09 PM

I've been modding for less than a year and I've noticed something slightly irritating.

"Could/Can you update this (please) for (something)?"

Now I'm glad that people like it and understand they want to make sure it works for their game but I wish they would use some common sense.

If we update our game to the latest patch then it's common sense that if we use our mods we'll make sure they work with the latest patch.

If we don't update our game for whatever reason, how are we going to make sure our mods are updating for patch 1.## or (Something) expansion pack? Just cause you ask we aren't going to update (and possible ruin things) in our personal games to test the mods.

Great alternative: "Do you know if it works for (game stats here)?"
