My laptop crashed months ago. So no Sims in a LONG time.
Hopefully I can fix it soon, but right now I'm saving the money for my photography studio.

I just bought a 12'X24' metal building to use as my new studio. I've been putting up insulation and my dad just wired the inside. Now I need to get the sheetrock up and paint. Then I need to buy carpet, lights and an air conditioner. Oh yeah, and dig a 100' trench from the studio to my house to bury the wire in. Did I mention it's 100 degrees here in the day?

I've also been researching my family tree. I've been able to trace it back to the late 1400s so far. I must say that ancestry.com is amazing. My grandmother has no idea who her father is. Her birth certificate only says B.O. Smith. I was able to stumble across a record on there for B.O. Smith who was born in Arkansas (where my grandmother was born) and was about the same age as my great-grand mother. Adding that record led to more records telling me his name was Brad Oliver Smith Jr. and then to even more records unlocking the entire family tree. My grandma is supposed to be coming over soon to see what all we've found. She has no idea that I found out who her father is.

I've been able to contact a lot of people across the country asking for pictures of my family and doing this gave me the courage to ask someone for a picture of my grandfather. My grandparents divorced when my mom was in the third grade and my grandma cut him out of all of her pictures. He never contacted my mom again so I've had no idea what he's even looked like until I sent his cousin a message on facebook asking for pictures.

I GRADUATED!!!!!!!!!!!


Instead of going to a four year college taking classes I don't need and not having time to continue my business, I'm going to take a one year online class from the college I would have went to in Digital Arts (photography, graphic design, etc, etc, etc,).Not to mention the entire course, costs the same as one semester of normal college.

But I did just realize something. I've been homeschooled all my life. Now I'm going to home-college. So, so, so, so, so, so, so, sad.



But when I do get my laptop fixed, I have tons of ideas for sims. (Yes, including uploading the wicked witch of the west)

I'm going to give TS3 another chance. If it runs well and decides to be user-friendly, I do have some ideas for new worlds. If not it's going on eBay.


And that's about it.

I FINALLY found that stupid CD yesterday...


I'm working on getting everything installed to my new 1 terabyte external hard drive. I only have the base game, Uni and NL installed right now. I'll get back to it soon.

So expect a resurrection of the wicked Witch of the West thread in the CFF.
I'll have new, in-game, pics for last suggestions before I upload.


I'm also now a monthly subscriber! Yaaaaaaaay!
I chose the MTS Addict plan ($15 a month) I keep thinking it's a little more than I'd like to spend, but MTS does so many wonderful things, and I'd pay more for lower quality items anywhere else. Plus, I'm making a good bit with my photography business (Post about that coming soon!) so I think I can spare it, as long as PayPal will take it from my bank account if there isn't enough in PayPal.

Soooo... I have a larger avatar, a simolean icon, and a custom title (jealous aren't ya? )

Now that The Sims 3 is out, I do plan to have some creations for it uploaded eventually, but I also have some TS2 Sims made that have needed to be uploaded for a while, so I'll send them to the CFF so they can be finished, and then upload them.


These include the SpongeBob SimPants set.
I'm going to put them in the CFF, and make any changes necessary then try to upload the whole set. If they are rejected, I'll probably just dump them into one big .rar and put it all on the Cartoon Sims server.



I'm also working on the Wicked Witch of the West. (you can see the link to the CFF thread in my signature) I've been busy the past few weeks and haven't had time to finish her, but all that is left are the wrinkles!
So it won't be long before the green meanie will be terrorizing your Simmies, and their little dogs too!


And I think I'll post my version of the Addams Family's house on the CFF too.

I'm also working with the Themed Modding Collective on a project.
I do not know when this will be completed, but it'll be awesome!



I'm also wanting to do some recolors of Denise_316's prince/princess dresses (aside from The Little Mermaid and Mulan characters)




I'm not sure what I will specialize in TS3.
Possibly a mixture of houses, Sims, and patterns.

Well, I still don't have my computer back, which means no Sims.

My laptop's been getting a workout, though.


When i do get my Sims back, I do plan on making some old downtown themed buildings and finishing Cruella DeVill. I promise nothing else.

I can actually upload my default Dharma foods now since I have the files and pics on my USB flash drive. I've just been too lazy. I'll get on it soon.

My computer has had a virus for like a month now and it won't even turn on. It gets to a certain point in the start up, and it shuts off and comes back on and repeats over and over and over...

So, I'm gonna get my uncle to look at it and I may wind up loosing everything. All of my photography, my music, and my Sims.

My whole life is on that thing.


So, if I loose everything, I'm going to scrap the Sims stuff that I've been working on.

I am thinking about doing some Nightmare before Christmas themed lots, though. Just something to make a small town with. If they look good I'll upload them.

I do have Cruella Devil saved on my USB thumb drive, so she is safe, she just needs more tweaking.


Also, when I get my computer back to normal, I'm going to get a DVD drive so I can install Apartment Life and I'll deffinatly start on some apartments.

I decided, who cares. I'll just scrap what I don't really care about.

Elphaba Thropp: The Wicked Witch of The West (Based on Margaret Hamelton in the 1939 movie The Wizard of Oz).
I will have two versions of her. One is a plain witch that will not require any EPs/SPs. The second will be her on an empty lot as a witch which will require Apartment life.


The SpongeBob SimPants Project
I'm trying to finish everything.
