View Full Version : Life Stories OR Pets Stories?

My sister is going to get either SLS or SPS for her laptop... Before she decides though, I'd like to ask a couple of Qs :)

I'm correct in thinking they're stand alone games? Not in relation to Sims 2, but Pets Stories isn't an expansion for Life? If so, that leads me onto another thing.

Isn't Pets Stories exactly the same as Life? Just with Pets added on, of course... I don't really see the logic in this. Are there major limitations on what you can do with the Sims themselves or something?

Sorry if I'm at all confusing :P Which one would you all suggest, anyway? Life or Pets?

Actually pet stories is exactly the same as life stories except with pets added. To make it even more mindboggling it is the same as Pets expansion but without the pet shows.

There are pets shows in sims 2 pets? Am i missing something here? Any way i think corocbaura is right.

No, no pet shows in sims2 pets. They had to put them in pet stories. Like they think that more than 10% of simmers will be tricked into buying that game too.

Yeah why include something like that when you can let your customers pay extra.

lol, according to the poll on the official site it isn't really working. Anyway, I think it's lame, becasue they said those games are for those whose computers can't handle the original sims but now it looks more like they're trying to make us buy those too. Instead of fixing ther bugs in pets, they sell us another game.

life stories was easy to beat.
at least rileys story was.
i beat it in a couple hours.
at least I got to change the lots from there for my sims 1!


i dunno about pet stories tho!

I am quite enjoying the pets stories and as you cant cheat in this, it makes it harder. You can use hacks and a lot of custom content, including cars. Yes Pet Stories works with cars. You have to download the original NON NL Car and Car Kit, install it to The SIms 2, then cut + paste it into the downloads of pet stories, the only downside is, you cant place the driveways,so you need to create a "collections" package, and then access the driveway and car there.
