Ghost Hunting career

Um......so, maybe my game is broken, or maybe I should try in a new town or something, but....I can no longer see ghosts.
Yesterday one of my ghosts had a baby. I sent her back to the afterlife, but now there are NO GHOSTS in my town. One of my Sims is a ghost hunter and she has jobs up the wazoo, but no ghosts are visible. I've even watched her banish 3 of them in one house....but to me, it looked like she was banishing air! There was no ghost! Is this normal? Has anyone else had this problem?

Do you have any mods that alter the ghost's coding?

I got a feeling this has to do with the no mosaic mode, are you using it?

I do have a no mosaic mod, but it didn't interfere before....I just saw a ghost yesterday in game. I revived her and played as her....
But maybe it only affects non-playable ghosts? I'll dig up my no mosaic mod and take it out and see if it helps.

I'm gonna make a dunce cap and photograph myself wearing it. Maybe I'm having this problem because my no-mosaic mod was for High End Loft stuff, and not Ambitions. This makes sense because I just bought Ambitions this past weekend and forgot I had this mod at all.
If anyone else has any ideas as to what causes this, I'd be glad to hear them. There's a chance this won't work.

Sorry that this isnt related to your problem, but since the title refers to the career, may I ask if the ghost hunter career has other jobs rather than "spirit invasions" later on? Ive only seen those and its getting pretty repetitive. And if there is, is it actually fun and not repetitive? lol

You do get more and different missions as you go up the ladder of success. I actually like the ones where furniture is possessed and you get to "exorcise" it. LOL But the hunt out invisible spirits one and send them back to heck, is so freaking boring and annoying. Its like playing "hot and cold" with an invisible person. :P

Have you already tried taking out all your mods to see if it's a mod problem/conflict, Punkface?

Er, sorry it took me so long to reply. I found the issue, and it has been resolved. I had a censor remover in my mods folder, and it was outdated. I had downloaded it while using an older patch and expansion. Then I updated the game and forgot to update this particular mod....once I did so, the problem was resolved. :)

While we're on the subject of Ghost Hunter... what happened to the Ghostbusters car I was promised in the review? Do you get it higher up in the career? I must confess I only played to level 3 and got bored of doing the same thing 20 times a night.

I played to level 10, and I never got a car. I just got a spirit detector in my inventory, a trophy, a wall plaque, and went through 2 uniforms. Maybe it's a reward for putting to rest a certain number of spirits/ghosts, since I think either the trophy or the plaque was a reward for that(rather than career advancement).
