Hey, guys- I'm co-building a house with a friend right now (sending it back and forth through the share lot function and taking turns tweaking and editing), and I'm just wondering, do the washers and dryers from Ambitions have to be placed against a wall ala toilets, or can they be placed anywhere?
One thing we're trying is making a walkout basement, and the laundry area would be down there. Since half the walls down there will actually be painted foundation, I'm wondering if washers and dryers can be placed against it or not. She has all the EPs, but I don't have any, just the base game patched to 1.18, so while I can stick FreshPrince's awesome deco washer and dryer set (http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=400800) as a placeholder for them to show where I think they should go, I don't know if she'll actually be able to put the real ones there in her game.
So, help me out? Can the real ones be placed against foundation, or am I gonna have to re-think the layout of the downstairs bathroom?
