Completely Custom CAS

Is it possible to make a completely custom CAS? I've seen lots of recolors, but no new screens....so I assume it's either impossible, or really, REALLY hard to do.

I did a forum search, a Google search, and a "Hey [Husband's Name], how do you think I would go about doing this?" search (his answer, btw, was "IDFK, I'm a web developer!")

Is it possible to make a completely custom CAS? I've seen lots of recolors, but no new screens....so I assume it's either impossible, or really, REALLY hard to do.As far as I know, the CAS is *ONE* big object with ridiculous mapping that makes even seasoned meshers' hair go grey. Even recoloring is very difficult, and what recolors exists are just textures that went through the (color) filters of photoshop or the like. So I guess "really, REALLY hard" would be it. ;)
