problem with SimsPE

I cannot use the program SimsPE at all. every time I try to run the program I get the following error: The Application failed to initialize properly (0x0000135) Click OK to terminate the application


I want to be able to create stuff for Sims 2 but can't get anywhere without that program

Do you have a compatible version of .NET installed?

Are you running on a 32-bit or 64 bit computer? If 64-bit, have you set 32-bit compatibility?

Are you running under an administrator account? If not, try that.

Are you using an installed version or a no-install version? If no-install, have you extracted all of the files from the ZIP file into a folder on your hard drive? Do you run the EXE from the extracted location?
